Prior to becoming an attorney, Marques worked in human resources management, retirement plan administration, and as a financial planner, coach, and educator. In these roles, he worked on numerous employee pay and benefits issues, drafted QDRO procedures and model QDROs, and reviewed, approved, and processed QDROs.
