Patricia Arjun

Biographical Info

Patty has practiced family law since 2004. Over the years she has supported hundreds of individuals navigate their family law cases in both Oregon and Washington states. While she can proudly say that her rate of settlement is high, the downside of her litigation practice is the time, energy and expense wasted on preparing a case for trial that settles at the courthouse or is postponed due to limited judicial availability.

Patty has embraced collaborative law for its private, efficient, respectful, transparent and non-combative way of moving families through their transitions. Through accessible counsel and careful guidance, she strives to ensure that clients are well informed and supported, and are given the opportunity to use the process to achieve a positive and peaceful future.  Her strengths lie in her ability to work with clients and in presenting information to them in a way that they are empowered to make informed choices.

Patty is originally from Laguna Hills, California. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science at the University of San Francisco and later made her way to Portland to attend Lewis & Clark Law School. She began her Collaborative trainings in 2009 and has continued with advanced and in-depth training in the following years. She is a board member of the Oregon Academy of Collaborative Professionals and a member of the Portland Collaborative Divorce practice group. She has received the distinction of being named a Super Lawyer by SuperLawyers Magazine for several years.
